Your rights, in plain English
Every product includes a license file, and the exact rights can vary, so always check it. This is what the two main license types usually allow.
With PLR you can
- Edit and rewrite the content
- Put your own name and brand on it
- Sell it and keep the profit
- Split it into posts, emails or social content
- Use it inside courses and memberships
With MRR you can
- Sell the product as it is
- Pass resell rights on where the license allows
- Use it as a bonus or in bundles
- Use it yourself
What licenses usually rule out
- Selling on marketplaces that ban PLR content
- Passing on resell rights you were not given
- Using the content for anything illegal or misleading
